Event overview
The Norfolk Festival of Running is organised by Zig Zag Running and takes place on 12 July 2026 at Bawsey Country Park, PE32 1EP. The event offers multiple fixed distances, including:

- Heavy Half Marathon (standard 5 laps)

Maximum entrants are 100. Entry fees are listed between £27 and £38. Age limits vary by distance; some 5k entries are open to those aged 14 and over, some 10k entries require 17+, and most longer distances require entrants to be 18 or older.
Course and practical information
The course is a trail route with sand, gravel and grass sections. A heavy half can be changed on the day to 6 or 7 laps; the ultra may be increased from 9 laps up to around 12 laps depending on time available. The event has a six-hour cut off; some starts have a four-hour cut off.
Race HQ and the aid station are located at the start and lap point. There is an aid station every lap. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. There is no baggage service; competitors are advised to leave belongings in their vehicles and will pass the car park each lap.
