About the race
Run Luminate 5k is a chip-timed evening running event organised by Good Running Events on 25 November 2026 at Sandringham Estate in the UK. The event follows a 5K route through the Luminate at Sandringham attraction with the start and finish located within the Royal estate.
The course is mainly on trails through and around the estate and is described as mixed terrain, 100% trail. The route uses parts of the Luminate attraction but not all sections are lit, so headtorches are mandatory. The race will be marshalled, clearly signposted and operated as an unlicensed fun run not affiliated to an athletics association. A one hour cut off will apply from the final wave.
Safety and event procedures include onsite medical teams, a designated water station at the end of the course, and a ban on in ear headphones; bone conducting headphones are permitted. Runners must write their name, any medical condition, and an emergency contact on the reverse of their race number where requested. Pets, wheelchairs and prams or running buggies are not permitted on the route for safety reasons.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers. Chip timing is provided by Total Race Timing and photography by Epic Action Imagery. Entries are non refundable and transfers are permitted until midnight on 10/11/2026. Ample parking is available at Sandringham Estate.
