What is No Walk in the Park 5k?

This is a fully licensed and officially measured 5k race. It is a multi-lap event that takes place on the paved paths around Queen's Park in Chesterfield. The course is described as undulating.

Event Format

The race takes place on the first Saturday of each month. There is a maximum of 150 entrants.

Awards and Prizes

Participants who complete 6 of the 12 annual races receive a memento. There are prizes for the winners and runners-up in each age category. A cash prize of £100 is offered to any male or female runner who breaks the current course records (14:59 for men, 17:03 for women).

Participation
