Peak District Birthday Bash : 18 April 2026, Castleton

The Peak District Birthday Bash is a point-to-point route based from Castleton, starting and finishing at The Peveril Centre, Buxton Road, Castleton, S33 8WP, United Kingdom. The event follows routes through varied Peak District landscapes and offers two distance options:

  • 70 km - Full Bash (43.5 miles)
  • 35 km - Half Bash (22.75 miles)

The Full Bash route is described as a circuit around the central Peak District.

Entry, eligibility and event services

Entries open 27 May 2025 and close 5 April 2026. Entry requires a SiEntries account; competitors must log in or register with SiEntries to enter. Age limits: minimum 18 years for the event; the Full Bash requires competitors to be 20 years or older, the Half Bash 18 years or older. The event has different fees for affiliated and non-affiliated entrants for each distance.

An early-start option is available for walkers and runners on both distances. To be eligible for podium awards, participants must use the mass start for their chosen distance. The event is hosted in celebration of the Peak District National Park anniversary and supports conservation and engagement projects of the Peak District National Park Foundation.
