Event Overview

The Peak District Birthday Bash takes place on Saturday, 18th April 2026. The event is based at The Peveril Centre in Castleton. It is an event for both runners and walkers, offering a journey through the central Peak District.

Course Options

Participants can choose between two distances:

Full Bash 70km (approximately 43.5 miles)
Half Bash 35km (approximately 22.75 miles)

The event supports the conservation and engagement projects of the Peak District National Park Foundation, celebrating the anniversary of the park's formation.

Participation Details

Age limits apply relative to the event date. Entrants must be 20 or older for the 70km distance and 18 or older for the 35km distance.

Separate early start times are available for walkers and runners on both distances. To be eligible for competitive awards, participants must join the mass start for their chosen distance.
