No Man's Land Trail Run
No Man's Land Trail Run takes place on October 17, 2026, near Lake Charles, Louisiana, at Sam Houston Jones State Park. The event uses an approximately 8 mile looped course around the park perimeter and includes multiple distance options.
The course follows named trails including the Riverwalk, Eagle Scout, Purple Haze, Nature Conservancy, Old Blue, and Stagecoach trails. About 90% of the route is on trail and about 10% is on road. One loop has roughly 125 feet of elevation gain and loss. Trails include roots, twists, turns, and water crossings with some bridges. The route will be marked with flags and arrows as confidence markers and turn markers.

Aid stations include a fully furnished start and finish station with on-site and portable restrooms and a second staffed station near mile four providing water, electrolytes, and snacks; restrooms are not available at the second station. Pacers are permitted only for the 50K during the final two loops; one pacer per runner and runners must carry their own supplies. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance and one DFL award per distance. No refunds, rollovers, or transfers are offered.
Packet pickup is available at the park pavilion on the day before and on race morning. Dogs must remain leashed on park trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
