Prudentia Classic
The Prudentia Classic is the sixth annual Run Pro Rege event held in Lake Charles on April 25, 2026. It features a community 5K and a 1 mile fun run/walk hosted at 1611 W. Sale Rd, Lake Charles LA 70605. The event aims to raise awareness of classical Christian education and to support capital and scholarship needs.

Packet pickup is scheduled for April 24, 2026 at the Student Ministries building at the event address, with two pickup periods the same day. Registration fees apply and prices increase after April 14, 2026; onsite registration fees are higher. Shirt sizes are guaranteed if registered by April 14, 2026 and shirts may be purchased through that date.
Awards for the 5K include overall male and female (ages 18 to 49) and masters male and female (ages 50 to 99). The 1 mile event awards top male and female runners in the age groups 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17.
Parking is available on the rear west side and the north side of the Student Ministries building. The races will be held rain or shine; in cases of lightning or severe conditions the route, start, or status may be changed or the event cancelled and registered participants will be notified.
