NMTC Fall Series

The NMTC Fall Series is a set of nine short-distance trail races held across the Twin Ports from August to October 2026. Races showcase woodland singletrack and other local trails and are scheduled on Wednesday evenings early in the series, switching to Sunday afternoons as daylight shortens.

Distances vary across the series:

  • 6 km
  • 6 to 11 km

Entry to the series is free; donations are accepted online or at the race start. The final race includes a community potluck at the Lester-Amity Chalet and prizes for all participants.

One example course, Hawk Ridge, is a loop that begins and ends in the parking lot off East Skyline Blvd above Lester Park. The course surface combines asphalt, gravel road, two-track, and singletrack. It features moderate hills and is described as not overly technical. Much of the second half runs along a creek and may include a few wet spots.

The series emphasizes short trail races on local singletrack and mixed surfaces, organized across multiple venues in the Twin Ports area over late summer and autumn. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
