Duluth 5K Celebration
The Duluth 5K is a season-closing, celebratory event for Girls on the Run Minnesota that offers program participants a concrete goal and a finish-line experience. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, with the specific location to be announced.
The course is 5K (3.1 miles) and is presented as an inclusive event where participants may walk, run, push, or roll at their own pace. Every girl in the program must be accompanied by a registered 5K Buddy who is a trusted adult aged 18 or older. Program participants and coaches are already registered for the 5K and do not need to register; additional family members, friends and community members may register separately. The registration fee for non-program participants is $40 with a pay-what-you-can option.
Safety measures include mandatory bibs for all participants, a monitored course and a safety plan that trains staff and volunteers to respond to emergencies. Pets are not permitted at the event.
