The event takes place on Sunday, February 22, 2026, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, 9169 Coors Blvd. NW. The race offers these distances:
- 15K
- 10K
- 5K
- 5K (17 and under)
Course and logistics
The courses are out-and-back loop routes that run through the Albuquerque Open Space Bosque. Start locations for the 15K, 10K, and 5K are near the finish. The 15K has a 2.5-hour cut-off. Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Sports on Saturday, February 21 (11:00 to 3:00 p.m.); representatives may pick up packets for pre-registered participants. Race-day registration is available and out-of-town participants may pick up packets on race day at the registration area.
Parking is restricted to designated areas; parking on dirt fields or the side of roads is not permitted. Portable toilets are located just east of the finish and next to the start in the east parking lot. Post-race refreshments are provided immediately after finishing.
Rules, timing, awards and services
The event uses RunFit’s RACE|RESULTS timing system; participants must wear a timing bib or chip for an official time. Each participant receives a bib that must be worn on the front of clothing and is non-transferable. Overall and age-group awards are given for each distance; overall awards are determined by gun time and age-group divisions vary by race. All registered participants receive a finisher medal. Headphones and personal GPS devices are allowed except for athletes competing for prize money. Dogs, strollers, and most wheeled devices are not permitted. Medical staff and radio communications are posted along the course, and a lost and found will be available on race day. Refunds, transfers, and deferrals are not allowed.
