US Road Running - Tallahassee
The US Road Running event in Tallahassee, Florida, takes place at the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway. This event features multiple distances hosted on a trail surface rather than pavement. The race follows an out-and-back format along the Greenway trails.
Participants can choose from three distinct race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K participants utilize a specific 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners completing the 5K distance travel this course two times, while those in the 10K category complete the course four times. The Half Marathon uses a different 2.18-mile out-and-back loop, which runners must complete six times to fulfill the total distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants. Essential logistics include packet pickup, which begins 30 minutes before the start and concludes 10 minutes prior to the race. All participants must complete their registration online in advance, as no on-site registration is provided on the day of the event.
