St. Peter's Anglican Cathedral Mother's Day 5K Race

The event is a 5K run and a fun run held on May 9, 2026 at St. Peter's Anglican Cathedral, 4784 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, FL 32309. The activities are held on the cathedral grounds and nearby roads in honor of mothers.

Distances offered:

  • Fun run for children on the cathedral grounds

The 5K starts in the St. Peter's parking lot, proceeds south onto Thomasville Road, turns right onto Lake Hall Road, reaches a turnaround at 2092 Lake Hall Road, and returns to St. Peter's. The course is an out-and-back and has been measured multiple times with a Jones counter. Turnaround and mile markers will be clearly identified and volunteers will be stationed to direct runners.

Registration opens March 11, 2026 and closes May 8, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 8 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Narthex of the church and beginning at 6:45 on race morning. Tours of the cathedral are available from 8:00 to 11:00. All proceeds will support the mission work that St. Peter's does for mothers locally, nationally, and around the world. Awards are given for overall winners, masters, grandmasters, and age group winners. Children in the fun run must be supervised before, during, and after the event.
