Loughshannagh
Loughshannagh is a Race in the Hills and Dales series event held at Ott Car Park (lay-by). The course is run anti-clockwise on open mountain terrain, covers 8 km with approximately 800 m of climb, and is not marked.
Participants must be at least 15 years old before 1 January 2026. Entries are scheduled to open on 20 March 2026 and close on 10 June 2026. Entry fees are listed as £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unaffiliated runners. The event is organised by Newcastle AC.
Competitors must attach race numbers to the chest; numbers fixed to shorts may be difficult to scan and can lead to disqualification. Full body cover must be carried; failure to pass the kit check in poor conditions may result in disqualification. The start grid reference is 277 268.
