Napa Wilderness Trail Runs : Skyline Wilderness Park, Napa, CA (May 16, 2026)
This event offers trail races of multiple distances at Skyline Wilderness Park, located at 2201 Imola Ave., Napa, CA. Courses run on park trails and include climbs on the Rim Rock Trail with viewpoints over Napa Valley. From the Rim Rock summit runners can see Mount Diablo to the east, Mount Tamalpais to the west, and Mount Saint Helena to the north.
Distances:
- 50K ultra distance with steep climbs and extensive singletrack sections.
- 30K route sharing Rim Rock climbs and valley views.
- 21K half marathon paced as a moderate trail route.
- 10K shorter trail run for newer or returning trail runners.
Aid stations are at the start, finish, and spaced approximately every 5 to 9 miles. Stations use a touchless service model with volunteers pouring fluids and placing prepacked snacks; plant based options are available. The 30K and 50K include a roughly 9 mile section served by a water only stop, so runners should carry additional nutrition and water for that segment. All races are cupless; runners must bring a personal cup, bottle, or bladder.
Parking at the park is covered by a $6 fee included with registration; overflow parking is through the south gate. Dogs are allowed in start, finish, and camping areas but are not permitted on the trails. Final results will be posted within 72 hours after the event.
