Napa Valley Turkey Chase
The Napa Valley Turkey Chase is a family-oriented running event held in Napa, CA on November 26, 2026. Proceeds from the race support local charities.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 5K Course : 3.1 mi through Napa Valley College and the Napa River Trail
- 10K Course : 6.2 mi using the college, the Napa River Trail, and a loop near Kennedy Park
- Kids 100 meter Turkey Dash for children age 7 and younger; participants receive a medal
Both road courses are measured by wheel and GPS but are not USATF certified. The start and finish are located in Lot J behind the Napa Valley College track; Lot J is the staging area for packet pick-up, booths, and toilets, and parking is not allowed there. Parking is available in the college lots on the east side nearest the highway. Portable toilets are located near the start/finish and at a point on the 10K course.
Aid stations provide water and electrolyte drinks at mile markers along each course. Course marshals, campus security, and lead bikers will guide runners; portions of the course remain open to slow moving traffic. Headphones are allowed but participants are responsible for hearing marshal directions. Strollers are permitted from the back; dogs are not allowed.
All registrants ages 8 and up receive disposable timing chips on the back of their bib; bibs must be worn on the front of the body for times to record. Packet pick-up is available in advance at Athletic Feat in Napa and on race morning. No day-of-race registration is offered. Awards and age-group prizes are presented after the race. Volunteer roles include packet pick-up, parking assistant, water station aid, course marshal, and lead bikers; organizations can receive donations for volunteer time.
