Artesa Wine Run 5k
The Artesa Wine Run 5k is an annual event held at the Artesa Vineyards and Winery in Napa, California. Located approximately one hour from San Francisco, the venue features Spanish-inspired architecture and vineyard views. This event offers participants the opportunity to complete a timed course through the winery grounds.
The race follows a 5k distance and consists of a two-lap course that navigates around the vineyard. The route starts and finishes at the winery and is suitable for both runners and walkers. Results are chip-timed and managed by J3 Timing, with scores posted online after the event.
Registered participants receive a variety of branded items, including:
- A soft ring-spun cotton t-shirt
- A shatterproof, collapsible, and portable wine glass
- A finisher medal that functions as a wine stopper
- A chip-timed race bib
- A pour of wine for participants aged 21 and over
The event is open to all ages, with discounted registration available for minors. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to the uneven ground of the vineyard course. Friendly dogs on leashes are allowed in the outdoor areas and on the course, but they are not permitted inside the winery buildings. On-site benefits include free race photos available for download and the option to purchase light cheese boxes after the run. Additional wine tastings at the winery require separate reservations.
