Artesa Wine Run 5k
The Artesa Wine Run is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Artesa Vineyards & Winery in Napa, California. The course is a two lap route that navigates around the vineyard and provides views of the property. The route is open to runners and walkers.
Registration includes a T shirt described as Super Soft Ring Spun Cotton, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip timed race bib, results posted online, and a pour of wine at the finish.
Age group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each category. Age groups are in 10 year brackets: 19 and under; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 to 79; 80 and over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for an age group award. There will be no age group ceremony; results are posted online and award winners should pick up awards at the registration table the day of the event. Age group medals are available for pickup one hour after the start of the first wave and will not be shipped after the event.
Packet pickup takes place the day of the event only and begins one hour before a participant's selected start time. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal, and bib but does not include a wine glass or a pour of wine. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register. Walking is allowed. Dogs are not permitted on site due to USDA restrictions for produce and vegetable farms. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
