Event overview
The Artesa Wine Run 5k is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Artesa Vineyards & Winery, 1345 Henry Rd, Napa, CA 94559. The course starts and finishes at the winery and runs around the vineyard, offering views of the property. The event is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. The race offers both on-site participation and a virtual participation option; virtual registrants can have a packet shipped for an additional fee or pick up a packet and run on their own.
Registration, logistics and awards
Registration includes a T-shirt (super soft ring spun cotton), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal (which doubles as a wine stopper), a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but do not receive a wine glass or wine pour. Packet pickup is the day of the event and begins one hour before each selected start time. The winery offers light cheese boxes for purchase after the race and requires reservations for wine tastings following the event. The race awards age-group prizes to the top three finishers in each 10-year category: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age-group awards. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need to register.
