Muddy Dash - Detroit
The Muddy Dash is an obstacle event held at the Everett A. Cummings Center in Mt Morris, Michigan. The course covers a distance of several miles and features approximately 12 specific stations where participants maneuver through various elements. These "Muddy Moments" require individuals to run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide to progress through the course.
The event is non-competitive and does not use timing equipment. Participants encounter mud pits designed to be no deeper than waist-high, ensuring that swimming is not required. Costumes are permitted and encouraged on the course.
Depending on the registration type selected, participants receive different amenities:
- Value Registration: Includes a race bib, a finisher medal, and access to the post-race party.
- VIP Registration: Includes all Value items plus a tour t-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, sunglasses, tattoo, and a silicone wristband.
The event location at the Everett A. Cummings Center may charge a parking fee of up to $20 in cash. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue on the day before the race. Participants who choose to collect their packets on race day are subject to a $5 fee per paid participant. After the course, a festival area is available featuring music, food vendors, and interactions with sponsors.
Through a community initiative, the organization donates a free registration to local individuals facing financial or health-related hardships for every registration purchased. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
