Event Information
The Muddy Dash event in Detroit takes place at the Everett A. Cummings Center in Mt Morris, Michigan. The event date is September 12, 2026.
Registration and Packet Pickup
Two registration tiers are offered. The Value registration includes a race bib, finisher medal, access to a post-race party, and muddy obstacle experiences. The VIP registration includes all Value items plus an event t-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, a silicone wristband, and a VIP check-in process.
Packet pickup is available at the venue on September 11th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Picking up packets on race day incurs a fee of $5 per packet, cash only.
Course and Format
The Muddy Dash is a non-competitive, non-timed obstacle course run described as "a few miles of fun." It features approximately a dozen muddy obstacles, referred to as "Muddy Moments," where participants may run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide. Mud pits are no deeper than waist-deep. Costumes are permitted.
Venue and Amenities
There is a parking charge for all vehicles, collected by the venue, which may be up to $20 and is cash only. Spectators are welcome and must also pay the parking fee.
After the race, a festival area is available with music, sponsor interactions, food, and beverages. The area may host fun competitions where participants can win merchandise or a free race entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
