Lucky Shamrock 5K Walk/Run to benefit Ireland's Dream
The Lucky Shamrock 5K is an athletic event held at the Sugarbush Golf Club in Davison, Michigan. The event supports Ireland's Dream, a 501c3 organization dedicated to building a therapy center for children and families living with cerebral palsy. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results available during the event.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- Lucky Shamrock 5K Walk/Run
- Virtual 5k run/walk
The in-person course welcomes runners and walkers. For those unable to attend at the venue, a virtual option allows participants to complete their distance on a course of their own choosing. Virtual participants can submit their results online between March 15 and March 16. While virtual participants receive medals and any purchased shirts by mail, they are not eligible for age group awards.
All finishers receive a medal. These medals are designed to connect with others in the Lucky Race Series. Competitive awards are provided for top finishers across various age groups, ranging from 9 and under to 70 and older, divided by gender. Additionally, the first 20 participants to cross the finish line receive a separate prize, provided they are present at the end of the race. Long-sleeve performance hoodies featuring moisture-wicking technology and UV protection are available for purchase during registration.
