Pot O' Gold in Downtown Flint
Pot O' Gold takes place on March 17, 2026 in downtown Flint, Michigan. The event is presented by the Crim Fitness Foundation in partnership with the Ancient Order of Hibernians and J. P. O'Sullivan Distributing and follows a long standing local tradition.
Distances offered:
- 4-mile run or walk
- Little Leprechaun kids races 1/2 mile and 1/4 mile
- 0.317K Beer Dash (about 100 yards)
The four mile loop passes notable local sites including the University of Michigan Flint campus, Mott Community College campus, the Flint Cultural Center, and Applewood Estates. Race amenities for 4-mile participants include festive flair worn on course, a custom four inch race medal, and a technical fabric race shirt. Age group awards will be presented to men and women in the run and competitive walk divisions, including masters categories in five year increments. Beer Dash participants receive a beer dash shirt and a Crim gift.
A post race party is held downtown with music, a warming tent, pizza and fruit for participants, and food trucks available for purchase. One complimentary alcoholic beverage is provided to participants age 21 and over and nonalcoholic drinks are available.
