Shillelagh Four Mile Run & Walk
The Shillelagh Four Mile Run & Walk takes place in Flushing, Michigan. The event features a course that starts and finishes at Central Elementary School, traveling through a residential neighborhood. Participants can choose between two primary events:
- 4 mile run/walk
- 4 mile competitive walk
The event uses RFID chip timing provided by Mid Michigan Timing for accurate results. Participants who register by specific deadlines are eligible for a long-sleeve hoodie. Otherwise, participants may register for the event without the commemorative apparel.
Awards are presented to the overall and masters winners for both male and female categories. Additionally, recognition is given to the top three finishers in various age groups, ranging from 12 and under to 100 plus. Overall winners in the run and walk categories receive a free entry with a shirt for a future Riverbend Strider race, valid for one year.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at a local running shop in Flint, as well as on the morning of the race at the elementary school. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
