Shillelagh Four Mile Run & Walk
The Shillelagh Four Mile Run & Walk takes place on March 14, 2026 in Flushing, Michigan. The event includes two competition options: the Shillelagh Four Mile Run/Walk and the Shillelagh Four Mile Competitive Walk. Both events use a four mile course that starts and finishes at Central Elementary School, 525 Coutant Street, and follows a route through a residential area.
Early registration offers lower fees: $15 without a long sleeve hoodie or $28 with a long sleeve hoodie if completed by March 7. After that date the no-hoodie fee increases to $20. There is a separate deadline of March 8 to guarantee receipt of a long sleeve hoodie by race day; hoodies ordered after the early period can be picked up at Bauman’s Running & Walking Shop a few weeks after the race.
Packet pickup begins on the day before the event at Bauman’s Running & Walking Shop in Flint, and packets are also available on race day. Race timing will use RFID chip timing provided by Mid Michigan Timing. Awards will be given to Overall and Masters categories for male and female runners and walkers, plus top three finishers in each age group; overall winners for both runners and walkers receive a free entry with shirt for a future Riverbend Strider race valid for one year.
