Shillelagh Four Mile Run & Walk : March 14, 2026
The event takes place in Flushing, Michigan, hosted at Central Elementary School, 525 Coutant Street. It includes two events: the Shillelagh Four Mile Run/Walk and the Shillelagh Four Mile Competitive Walk. The course is a 4-mile route that starts and finishes at Central Elementary School and passes through a residential area.
Registration and fees
Early registration pricing (by February 7) is $15 without a long sleeve hoodie and $28 with a long sleeve hoodie. After February 7 the prices are $20 without a hoodie and $33 with a hoodie. The event page notes a price increase after March 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Entries submitted by March 8 are guaranteed a long sleeve hoodie by race day.
Packet pickup
Packet pickup begins the day before the race at Bauman’s Running & Walking Shop, 1473 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507. Packets are also available on the day of the event.
Awards
Awards are given to Overall and Masters categories for male and female runners and walkers, plus top-three awards in each age group. Runner age groups listed include 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, and 100+. Walker age groups listed begin at 19 & under and continue in five-year bands up to 100+. Overall male and female winners for both runners and walkers receive a free entry with shirt for a future Riverbend Strider race valid for up to one year.
