Riviera Maya Taco Trot 5K

The Riviera Maya Taco Trot 5K is a chip-timed community event taking place at Horseshoe Lake and the County College of Morris in Roxbury, New Jersey. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ability levels and includes a primary distance:

Participants receive several items as part of their registration, including a finisher's medal and a race shirt, which is guaranteed for the first 500 participants. The event features a festive atmosphere with a live Mariachi performance. After finishing the course, participants are provided with tacos from Riviera Maya Restaurants.

The race serves as a fundraiser for Think Pink Rocks, a non-profit organization dedicated to breast cancer awareness, early detection, and research. The event is held in memory of Lynette Denson. While all registered participants are entered into the fundraising platform, individual fundraising remain optional. Awards are presented in various categories, including the top male and female finishers across multiple age groups ranging from 11 and under to 70 and over.
