The event is a 5K race held at the Statesville Soccer Complex, 2012 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625, United States. To be eligible for the Series Championship a competitor must compete in 10 out of the 15 races. One additional point is earned for each race completed beyond 10. Completing all 15 races awards 5 additional points and a free race entry for 2027.
Points for individual race results are allocated across several placings, for example overall first receives 12 points, overall second 10 points, overall third 9 points, masters and age group placings receive descending points, and all other participants receive 2 points.
