MRT 2026 1 Mile 2 Mile 1 Mile
MRT 2026 at Statesville Soccer Complex is organized as three races run in sequence on 09/01/2026. Each race sequence covers a total of four miles with a five minute break between races after the last finisher crosses and before the next race begins. Two event entries are shown: an open event with a registration fee of $17.00 and a youth entry with a registration fee of $8.00. Registration opens 12/17/2025 and closes 08/17/2026.

The event is part of the 2026 Championship Series. Participants earn points toward the series when they compete in the listed races. To qualify for the Series Championship a competitor must participate in at least ten of the fifteen series races. One additional point is awarded for each race completed beyond ten. Completing all fifteen races awards five extra points and a free race entry for 2027. Race dates in the series are: 1/27/2026, 2/21/2026, 2/24/2026, 3/17/2026, 4/4/2026, 4/7/2026, 4/21/2026, 5/5/2026, 6/2/2026, 7/21/2026, 8/11/2026, 8/18/2026, 9/1/2026, 10/6/2026 and 10/27/2026.
Awards are given nightly for overall, masters, and five year age groups. Championship prize money is specified for the top five male and female finishers. No dogs are allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
