14th Annual Heath Missions Run for Peru
The Heath Missions Run for Peru is an annual running event held in Statesville, North Carolina. The event takes place at 1851 Old Mountain Road and supports missionary work focused on evangelism and service to churches worldwide. The program includes several different participation options to accommodate various ages and physical activities.
Participants can choose from multiple event categories based on distance and age:
- 1 Mile Fun Run or Walk for youth (ages 0-17)
- 1 Mile Fun Run or Walk for adults (ages 18 and older)
- 5k run for youth (ages 0-17)
- 5k run for adults (ages 18 and older)
- 5k virtual runner option
The event organizers maintain specific safety and participation requirements for the course. For the 5k distance, all participants under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The course is not stroller friendly, and dogs are not allowed on the premises. For those who cannot attend in person, the virtual runner category allows for remote participation in the 5k distance.
