MRT 2026 2 Mile
The MRT 2026 2 Mile is a running event held at the Statesville Soccer Complex in North Carolina. The event is open to all participants and features a specific youth category. The primary race distance offered is:

This competition serves as one of 15 scheduled races in the 2026 Championship Series. Runners participate in these events throughout the year to accumulate points based on their finishing positions. Points are awarded for overall standings, masters categories, and age group placements, with all other participants receiving foundational points for completion.
To qualify for the Series Championship, participants must compete in at least 10 of the 15 designated races held between January and October. Running in more than 10 races earns additional points, and those who complete all 15 races receive bonus points along with an entry for the following year.
Awards are presented nightly for overall winners, masters, and five-year age groups. At the conclusion of the series, prize money is awarded to the top five male and female championship winners.
