Defender of Men 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Defender of Men 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place at Matheson Park in Taylorsville, North Carolina on June 27, 2026. The event offers two measured distances and open registration for each race.
The distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Run (1 mile)
Registration opens April 7, 2026 and closes June 27, 2026. The registration fee for the 5K is $40 and the fee for the 1 Mile Fun Run is $15. Registrations completed before June 5, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt.
Packet pickup is available at Matheson Park on race day morning. Course maps will be added at a later date.
Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers in both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run.
