Restoration Trail 5K Run & Walk
The Restoration Trail 5K Run & Walk is the first annual trail event held on the grounds of Restoration Church in Woodleaf, North Carolina. The program includes a fully timed 5K trail run, a timed one mile kids run, and an untimed 5K trail walk. Distances offered:
- Timed 5K Trail Run: 3.1 Miles
- Timed Kids Fun Run: 1 Mile
- Untimed 5K Trail Walk: 3.1 Miles
The timed 5K uses chip timing and follows three one-mile loops through wooded grounds. Official finish times are recorded at the final lap crossing. Awards are presented to the overall male and female top three finishers. Live results are posted as runners finish. A medical team will be onsite and water stations are available on course. The untimed walk follows the same three-loop trail and is not scored.
The kids run is designed for children ages 12 and under. Every child who finishes receives a finisher medal. Parents or guardians must register children and may run alongside them. Registration opens March 18, 2026. Registration fees are listed per event and vary by distance. Event proceeds support a local family navigating a season of need, and the day includes a community gathering with food vendors, a coffee cart, games, and an awards ceremony.
