Mountain To Fountain
Mountain To Fountain is a road race event in Fountain Hills, Arizona held on March 27, 2027. The event offers two race distances:
- 15K (9.4 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
The 15K is a point to point course that starts at McDowell Mountain Regional Park, passes through the Sonoran Desert and the Town of Fountain Hills, and finishes at Fountain Park near the town fountain. The courses are USATF certified. The 15K reports a total elevation gain of 297 feet and a maximum elevation of 1,964 feet. The 5K reports a total elevation gain of 242 feet and a maximum elevation of 1,623 feet.
Aid stations with water and portable restrooms are located along the 15K course at mile 2.25, mile 4.15, mile 6, mile 7.8, and at the finish. The 15K has a time limit of 2.5 hours; the 5K has a time limit of 1.5 hours.
The event includes a team competition for the 15K where teams of four or more score using their top four finishers. Winning teams receive one scoring member’s weight in beer. Registered participants receive event items such as a 50/50 blend t-shirt, finisher medal, expo access, post-race food, and one beer for participants 21 and older.
