10th Annual MoTown Turkey Trot
The 10th Annual MoTown Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in Montgomery Township (MoTown), PA. The event is organized by Montgomery Township and Scoogie Events with cooperation from PennDOT, the Montgomery Township Fire Department and local businesses. The host venue is Kiddie Academy at 1020 Horsham Road, North Wales, PA 19454. One hundred percent of donations from the event go to the Fire Department of Montgomery Township.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 1/2 Mile Kids' Fun Run
- 2 Mile FUN Run/Walk
- 5k
- 8k
The course uses the US 202 Parkway and includes road closures coordinated with local authorities. Awards are given for the 5k and 8k only, including overall male and female winners and top three males and females in each age category. Age categories include 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80-89. The kids run and the 2 mile event are presented as fun runs and are not part of the awards program.
Packet pick-up is staged at Kiddie Academy; the packet pick-up time and final logistical details are announced before the event. Previous editions sold out before race day, so early registration has been used by participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
