11th Annual MoTown Turkey Trot : Montgomery Township, PA
The 11th Annual MoTown Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, along the US 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township (MoTown). The event is organized by Montgomery Township and Scoogie Events and uses Kiddie Academy at 1020 Horsham Road, North Wales, PA as the host venue and packet pickup site.
Race distances include:
- 8K
- 5K
- 2 Mile fun run/walk
- 1/2 Mile kids fun run
The event benefits the Fire Department of Montgomery Township. Awards are given for the 8K and 5K only: overall male and female winners plus the top three males and females in each age group. Age categories include 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80-89. Awards and shirts will not be mailed. Participants who must leave early must notify organizers to reserve an award; shirt holding requests must be made at least 24 hours before race day.
Event-day activities include an after-party in the Kiddie Academy parking lot with hot chocolate, snacks, bounce houses, a costume contest, and an awards ceremony. A referral program returns $5 to the original registrant’s card for each eligible friend who registers, with certain race categories excluded from that program.
