Veterans Day 5K - Richboro
Cairn University Athletics and RUN 12:1 Running Club organize the Veterans Day 5K in its sixth year on November 14, 2026 at Tyler State Park in Newtown, PA. The event raises funds to provide scholarships for American veterans to further their education.
The course is held on paved park trails contained within Tyler State Park and follows rolling terrain. Distances offered include:
- 5K (3.1 miles) on paved trail
- 1 mile fun run and walk
- Virtual 5K option during race week November 8 to 15, 2026
Registration opens June 17, 2026. Organizers request online registration be completed by Friday, November 13, 2026; limited on-site registration may be available as space permits. Fees stated for planning are General $35, Veteran $30, Student $25, and Virtual $40. A $5 price increase begins November 10, 2026.
All participants registered by November 1 will receive a custom Veterans Day 5K race shirt in their requested size when available. Awards are planned for top three overall male and female finishers, top age group winners, and top veteran winners. Parking is available in the lot nearest the Tyler Park Center for the Arts off Newtown-Richboro Road (Rt. 332) at the Number 1 Lane Trail/Stable Mill Road entrance.
