Veterans Day 5K - Richboro
Cairn University Athletics and RUN 12:1 Running Club present the Veterans Day 5K on November 14, 2026. The event supports American veterans with scholarships for education after service and includes in-person and virtual participation options.
The course is a paved trail contained within Tyler State Park in Newtown, PA. The route runs on rolling terrain and is accessed near the Tyler Park Center for the Arts off Newtown-Richboro Road (Rt. 332) at the Number 1 Lane Trail / Stable Mill Rd entrance. Available distances and formats:
- 5K (3.1 miles) on paved trail within the park
- 1 Mile fun run and walk option
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles) participate from anywhere during race week November 8 to 15
Registration opens June 17, 2026. General in-person registration is listed at $35 and the virtual option at $40. Discounted rates are noted for veterans and students and team pricing is available. A $5 price increase takes effect beginning November 10, 2026 at noon. All registrants receive a custom Veterans Day 5K race shirt; sizes requested by November 1 are prioritized but not guaranteed afterward.
