Harvest Hare
Harvest Hare is a swim and multisport festival held at Lawrence Park Swim Club, 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008. The facility is an outdoor heated 25 meter pool, typically kept near 81 to 82 F. There is on-site parking.
The event offers a range of race formats and distances, including:
- 5K pool swim and 1K pool swim
- 3 Mile run
- Runner's aquathlon: 1K swim and 3 Mile run
- Swimmer's aquathlon: 5K swim and 3 Mile run
- Sprint triathlon: 750 m swim, 11.8 mi bike, 3 Mile run
- Olympic triathlon: 1500 m swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run
- Swimmer's triathlon: 5K swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run
- Sprint and Olympic duathlons with bike and run segments
- Kids and Adult Sprint aquathlons with 300 m swim and 1 Mile run
- Several virtual race options
For multisport events only the time for each actual leg is recorded; transition times are not kept. Bike and run segments are self supported with no traffic control and no course markings; stationary trainer rides may be used as an alternative and are scored separately from road rides. Swimmers may be required to share lanes. All entrants receive a race t shirt if their entry is received by 10/12. Custom awards are given to the top three overall and in each age group for each event. No refunds are issued and bib transfers are not permitted. Deferrals or transfers may be requested at least 14 days before the event for a nominal fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
