Paws to the Rescue 5K
Paws to the Rescue 5K is a community fundraising event on 11/14/2026 at Victory Fields in Lafayette Hill, PA. The event raises funds and awareness for local animal rescues and supporting organizations, with all proceeds directed to Hand2Paw. It was organized as a high school business project by two seniors at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.
Distances offered:
- 5K in person and virtual
- 1 mile fun run/walk
- 400 m kids dash (1/4 mile)
The 5K course includes pavement and grass; the 1 mile and kids dash use pavement only. Awards for the 5K include top three overall per gender and first place in each age group per gender with age groups 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 plus. Results will be handled by a professional timing company.
Amenities include a T shirt included with 5K registration with a small up charge for other participants, a medal for every participant, water and snacks, a dog adoption center hosted by Waiting On A Friend Animal Rescue, encouraged dog attendance except in the 5K race and the kids dash, free photography, and school booths on site.
