The Morecambe Half Marathon & 5k takes place on 3rd May 2026 at Bare Methodist Church, LA4 6EF. The event is covered by UKA Licence #29955. Distances offered:

Course and awards
The course runs mostly along the promenade with views across the bay to the Lake District. There is a hill and an undulating section between miles 8 and 12. A medal is awarded to all finishers. Half marathon finishers also receive a T-shirt. Prizes are given to the first three male and first three female finishers. A first veteran prize is awarded in each category depending on entry.
Entries and fees
Online entry fees (may include a small portal fee):
5k - affiliated £10; unaffiliated £12; Lancaster Runner's Club £8.
Half marathon - affiliated £30; unaffiliated £33; Lancaster Runner's Club £24.
Entries on the day are accepted for cash only. On-the-day fees:
5k - affiliated £15; unaffiliated £15; Lancaster Runner's Club £10.
Half marathon - affiliated £35; unaffiliated £35; Lancaster Runner's Club £30.
