Morecambe Half Marathon & 5k
The Morecambe Half Marathon & 5k takes place on 3rd May 2026 and is based at Bare Methodist Church (LA4 6EF).

The course runs mostly along the promenade with views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District. There is a hill and an undulating section between miles 8 to 12.
All finishers receive a medal. Half marathon finishers also receive a t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers, with first veteran awards provided in each category depending on entry.
Online entry fees for the 5k are listed as £10 for affiliated club athletes, £12 for unaffiliated athletes, and £8 for Lancaster Runner's Club members. Online entry fees for the half marathon are listed as £31 for affiliated athletes, £33 for unaffiliated athletes, and £25 for Lancaster Runner's Club members. Some online entry portals may add a small fee.
Entries on the day are accepted for cash only with fees shown as £15 for 5k affiliated and unaffiliated athletes and £10 for Lancaster Runner's Club; half marathon on-the-day fees are shown as £35 for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes and £30 for Lancaster Runner's Club members.
The event holds UKA Licence number 29955 and operates a no refunds, swaps or deferrals policy. Recorded race times include 5k 15:54 (male, 2025) and 5k 17:20 (female, 2024); half marathon 1:14:57 (male, 2024) and 1:33:07 (female, 2025).
