Morecambe Half Marathon & 5k
The event on 3 May 2026 is staged from Bare Methodist Church, LA4 6EF, under UKA licence number 29955. It offers two distances along the Morecambe promenade and nearby roads.
The course is mostly flat along the promenade with views across the bay to the Lake District. There is a hill and an undulating section between miles 8 and 12 on the half marathon course. Medals are provided to all finishers and t shirts are given to finishers of the half marathon.

Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers. A prize is also given to the first veteran in each category depending on entry numbers. The organiser’s policy does not allow refunds, swaps or deferrals.
Entry fees for online registration are listed separately for affiliated athletes, unaffiliated athletes, and Lancaster Runners Club members. Online fees for the 5 km are £10 affiliated, £12 unaffiliated, and £8 club. Online fees for the half marathon are £30 affiliated, £33 unaffiliated, and £24 club.
