Kendal Castle Sprint Tri : 26 April 2026
The Kendal Castle Sprint Tri takes place on Sunday 26 April 2026 at Kendal Leisure Centre, Burton Road, LA9 7HX. The event is a sprint distance triathlon that follows routes around Kendal Castle and finishes back at the leisure centre. The event is organized by T2 Events and has a limit of 250 places.
Course, entries and requirements
- 400 m pool swim
- 18.7 km bike (excluding 1,400 m neutral zone)
- 5 km off-road run
The bike leg is an out-and-back route with a timed neutral zone. The run uses a short section of the old canal, woodland trails and grassy slopes up to the Castle ruins before returning to the centre. Entries open on 3 November 2025 and close on 23 April 2026 or earlier if the event fills. Entry fees listed are Solo £50 and Relay £65. Minimum age to enter is 15; anyone under 16 must provide written parental consent at registration. Included for entrants are chip timing, free parking, a medal and free professional photographs.
