Kendal Castle Autumn Sprint Tri
Kendal Castle Autumn Sprint Tri is a sprint-distance triathlon based at Kendal Leisure Centre that follows a route around Kendal Castle. The event takes place on 27 September 2026 and is limited to 150 places.
The race sequence is a pool swim, a road cycling leg, and an off-road run. The bike course is an out and back route and includes a 1.4 km neutral zone. The run uses a short section of the old canal, woodland trails and grassy slopes up to the castle ruins before returning to the leisure centre.

- 400 m pool swim
- 18.7 km bike excluding 1.4 km neutral zone
- 5 km off road run
Entry rules and inclusions are stated for competitors. Minimum age is 15 in the event year; anyone under 16 must provide written parental consent at registration on event day. Solo entry fee is £50 and relay entry is £65. Entries open 2 May 2026 and close 23 September 2026 or when the event fills.
Participants are required to use a roadworthy bike; mountain bikes and hybrids are acceptable, and a recognised cycle helmet must be worn. Competitors should be medically sound and consult a GP if they have a history of illness or injury. Included with entry are chip timing, free parking, a medal and free professional photographs.
