Kendal Castle Autumn Sprint Triathlon
The Kendal Castle Autumn Sprint Triathlon takes place on 27 September 2026 at Kendal Leisure Centre, Burton Road, Kendal. The event is centered on the Kendal Castle area and uses local trails and facilities for all three disciplines.
The course includes a pool swim, an out-and-back bike section with a timed out neutral zone, and an off-road run that approaches the castle ruins. The run follows the old canal route for a short distance, continues on woodland trails and grassy slopes up to the castle, then returns to the leisure centre.

- 400 m pool swim
- 18.7 km bike excluding 1400 m neutral zone
- 5 km off-road run via canal, woodland and slopes
Entries open on 2 May 2026 and close on 23 September 2026 or earlier if the event fills. Entry fees listed are Solo £50 and Relay £65. The event is limited to 150 places. Minimum age is 15 in the event year; anyone under 16 must provide written parental consent at registration.
Included with entry are chip timing, free parking, a medal and free professional photographs. A roadworthy bike is required; mountain and hybrid bikes are acceptable and a recognised cycle helmet must be worn.
