Event Overview

The Great Eccleston Supper Run is a 4-mile running event. The course starts in Great Eccleston and follows a loop along country roads to the village of Elswick before returning to the start point in Great Eccleston to finish. The route is on open roads and is described as mainly flat with a few rises.

Post-Race and Details

After finishing at the Great Eccleston Scout Hut, participants receive a meat and potato or cheese pie, served with peas, gravy, red cabbage, and sauce. All finishers also receive a medal. The event has a maximum of 153 entrants and is only open to participants aged 16 and over. It is held under UK Athletics rules with a road licence.
