Blackpool Festival of Running
The Blackpool Festival of Running is a two day road running event on 24 and 25 April 2027 at the Comedy Carpet, Tower Festival Headland, Blackpool FY1 1AP. The festival takes place along the seafront and uses road surfaces for its courses.

- Half Marathon
- 10k
- 5k
- 2k
Organisers are finalising brand new routes for 2027 and will publish full course maps and confirmed route information once measurements and assessments are complete. All races are chip timed and results are published online, with race photos from around the course normally available within 24-48 hours.
Event services and facilities include on-course water stations, baggage storage, a key drop facility, portable toilets at Event HQ, professional medical support and event marshals. Water is provided at multiple points on the marathon and half marathon courses and at designated points for shorter races; water is also available at every finish.
Travel and parking information notes numerous town centre car parks near the Comedy Carpet and easy access by public transport. The Tower tram stop is a short walk from Event HQ. The surrounding promenade and town centre are predominantly flat and offer dropped kerbs and accessible routes, with accessible parking and low-floor trams and buses available.
Every finisher receives a bespoke finisher medal. Individual awards are given in set categories for the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and 5k events, with veteran age-group awards for the longer distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
