The Mooresville/Lake Norman Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Mooresville, NC. The event is the 15th annual Turkey Trot and benefits The Christian Mission. The race offers the following distances:

• 0.5 mile Kids FUN RUN (open to ages 10 and under)

Race details

Registration fees listed are $40 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids FUN RUN. The registration price increases after October 31, 2025, and all registrations are non-refundable and considered a donation to The Christian Mission. The race location is The Christian Mission at 919 N Main St, Mooresville, NC 28115. Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the race on November 24, 25, and 26. T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations received before November 1, 2025. Awards include running store gift cards for the top three overall male and female finishers, and awards for the top three in each age category. Food donations of canned goods or shelf-stable items are accepted on race day. All proceeds support The Christian Mission’s programs serving over 4,000 local individuals and families.
