Fall Frenzy 5K
The Fall Frenzy 5K is the second annual Iredell Crosby Scholars 5K held on November 21, 2026, in Troutman, NC at 400 North Eastway Drive. The event features a single running race of 3.1 miles and is chip timed by New and Old-Timers LLC on a new race course. The event will proceed rain or shine. Jogging strollers and pets are permitted; pets must be kept on a leash.
Parking is available in the gravel lot across from Troutman Town Hall and at Troutman ESC Park. Parking is not permitted in the Troutman Town Hall lot.
Registration opens May 1, 2026 and closes November 21, 2026, with a registration fee of $35.00. Runners registered before October 24, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
The event is produced by Iredell Crosby Scholars Community Partnership, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2015. Race funds and donations support Crosby middle and high school students with activities such as exploring careers, resume and interview preparation, college list creation and application support, college essay review, ACT and SAT test preparation, scholarship and financial aid guidance including FAFSA help, time management tips, one-on-one advising, and leadership opportunities.
Festivities on race day include a food truck providing coffee, face painting, yard games, post-race fruit and snacks, cheer teams, and awards for top male and female finishers in multiple categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
