Fall Frenzy 5K
The Fall Frenzy 5K is the inaugural Iredell Crosby Scholars 5K, held in Troutman, North Carolina at 338 North Avenue on November 21, 2026. The course distance is 3.1 Miles and the event will be chip timed by New and Old-Timers LLC. Registration opens August 21, 2026 and closes November 21, 2026; the registration fee is $35 and entry is capped at 200 runners. Runners registered before October 24, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
The event is rain or shine. Jogging strollers and pets are allowed; pets must be on a leash at all times. Day-of activities include coffee from a food truck, face painting, yard games, post-race fruit and snacks, cheer teams, and awards for top male and female finishers in multiple categories.
Organizer information: Iredell Crosby Scholars Community Partnership is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) formed in 2015. Race funds and donations support Crosby middle and high school students with services such as career exploration, resume and interview preparation, college list creation and application support, college essay review, ACT and SAT preparation, scholarship and financial aid guidance including FAFSA help, time management coaching, one-on-one advising, and leadership opportunities.
