St James Elementary School Royal Run 5k
The St James Elementary School Royal Run 5k takes place on January 24, 2026 in Denver, North Carolina. Packet pick-up is scheduled Friday, January 23, 2026 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at St. James Elementary School, and on Saturday morning there is packet pick-up and on-site registration at the Verdict Ridge Pool parking lot.
Entry fees and registration notes listed: the 5k (timed) is shown at $30 with a price increase after December 31, 2025; the 5k non-timed is shown at $25; the One Mile Fun Run/Walk is shown at $20; the Kids Dash is free. Several events list registration ending January 21, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. T-shirts and shirt sizes are offered; shirts are only guaranteed for registrations by January 11, 2026.
Race entry includes pre-race activities, a t-shirt, age group certificates, finisher medals for all children, and a finish line festival. Awards include 1st place male and female overall, and 1st–3rd male and female in these age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
