Monster Triathlon takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in Keller, TX at 1000 Bear Creek Pkwy (Keller Natatorium area). The 2026 edition is noted as the 21st running of the event and is listed with over 700 athletes. The race is USAT sanctioned and conducted under USA Triathlon rules.

Course and categories

The triathlon consists of the following segments:

Event categories include standard age-group competition and special divisions: Athena (female 165 lbs and over) and Clydesdale (male 220 lbs and over).

Packet pickup, rules and logistics

Packet pickup dates and locations are published for the week before the race, with locations in Richardson and Keller. Competitors must present photo ID. Adult competitors should pick up their own packet unless proper identification is provided for a proxy. Competitors must be current USAT members or purchase a one-day USAT permit during registration. The organizer has a no refund and no transfer policy.

Awards and policies

Awards are three deep per age group and include Athena and Clydesdale categories with age splits noted. Age groups are listed from 14 & under through 75 & over. Masters and grand masters categories are defined by age ranges. Awards are based on gun time for running events and chip time for triathlon events. Awards must be picked up in person or by a designated person; no mailing. A weather policy allows course alterations, shortening, or cancellation at the race director’s discretion for safety.
