MO' Cowbell Marathon - St. Charles, Missouri
MO' Cowbell Marathon is a community road race held in historic St. Charles, Missouri on November 8, 2026. Distances offered include:
- Marathon
- Half-Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The start and finish are along the Missouri River near Historic Main Street and Frontier Park. The course passes through New Town just past halfway, runs flat for nearly ten miles, includes a two mile hilly section along the Little Hills Expressway, and finishes with the last mile downhill toward the park. The event has been used as a qualifier for the Boston, New York City, London and Chicago marathons.
MO' Cowbell is produced by the Economic Development Council of St. Charles County as a nonprofit community event. The race team is led by one race director and a group of volunteers. Every dollar raised by MO' Cowbell remains in St. Charles County. The event notes its family friendly focus and includes community activities and local businesses near Historic Main Street, Streets of St. Charles and nearby attractions such as wineries in Augusta and the city of St. Louis to the east.
