St. Louis Hot Cider Hustle 5K & 10K
The Hot Cider Hustle is a fall running event in St. Louis on October 24, 2026, held in Forest Park with start and finish at the Upper Muny Parking Lot on Summit Drive. The event offers two distances and uses fully paved park trails that run through wooded sections of Forest Park.

The event is chip timed and awards the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall for both distances. Age categories range from 10 and under through 70+. A course time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes applies for the 5K and 10K.
Finish-line amenities for 2026 include a finisher mug for every participant, a runner’s choice of a classic t-shirt or a premium thin-tec 1/4 zip, hot apple cider and caramel apples. A finisher medal for the 5K or 10K is available as an add-on. Free digital race photos are provided when available.
Logistics include packet options with mail delivery available for a fee, posted packet pick-up details, on-site packet pick-up, and a virtual race category with mailed gear. Water stations provide water; there is no gear check. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted for walkers and joggers and must start at the back; a guardian must sign for any child in a stroller.
