Millbrook Vineyards Wine Run 5k
The event is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Millbrook Vineyards & Winery in Millbrook, NY on May 15, 2027. The route is a two lap cross country style course, mostly on grass with some areas of uneven footing and several challenging hills. Participants who prefer a shorter distance may stop after the first lap and be changed to the 1.5 mile division by notifying the timer.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib, online results, and a pour of wine at the finish. Minors may register at a discounted rate and receive a shirt, medal and bib but will not receive a wine glass or a glass of wine. The event permits strollers though they are not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate free and do not need to register. Dogs are not allowed on site.
The local charity partner is Angels of Light, an organization that has delivered over 7,500 gifts to more than 1,300 children in the Hudson Valley and provides year round assistance to families with medical and basic needs.
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in ten year categories from 19 and under through 80 and over. Awards are available for pickup on the day of the event and are not available for shipment.
Packet pickup is available at the winery on the Friday before the event and on race day. A separate jazz concert will take place on Saturday evening with a ticket fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
