Pete Sanfilippo 44th Annual Holiday Run : December 6, 2025
The event takes place in Wappingers Falls, NY, with both start and finish at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2660 E Main Street, Wappingers Falls 12590. This is the 44th running of the event. The program includes a USATF certified five mile road course through the village and a separate one mile race for children.

Registration, extras and logistics
Pre-registration pricing for the 5 mile is listed as $20 and day-of registration as $25. The Kids 1 Mile is free when pre-registered and $10 day-of. Members of MHRRC receive a $5 discount only if pre-registered. Registration closes on December 5, 2025. The first 200 registered 5 mile runners will receive a holiday winter hat. There is planned holiday music and refreshments in the Knights of Columbus Hall after the races. A visit from Santa is scheduled around the kids race and afterwards for photos.
Awards
Cash prizes for top overall male and female are listed as $200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third. The first place master (age 50+) receives $50. Age-group awards are given for multiple adult and youth categories, with top three places in each. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
