Grateful Gallop 5K - Lagrangeville
The Grateful Gallop is a 5K running event held on 11/28/2026 at Stringham Park, 78 Stringham Road, Lagrangeville, NY 12540. Registration for the race opens and closes on 10/22/2026; the registration fee is $25.00, with $20 from each entry designated to Dutchess Outreach to support local families.
The event organizer will collect donations for Dutchess Outreach on race day; monetary donations are also accepted and 100% will go to Dutchess Outreach. Everyone who donates will be entered in a raffle for items provided by Brooks, with winners drawn at the end of the event.
Stringham Park does not allow dogs, and the course is not stroller-friendly; these restrictions have no exceptions. Collected items should meet the listed guidelines: non-perishable food at least six months from expiration in original, undamaged packaging; diapers of any size and baby wipes; baby formula, especially Enfamil; and new, unopened personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, body wash, and body lotion.
The event combines a community run with donations and fundraising for local food and essential support services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
