Military Heroes 5k/10k Run
The Military Heroes 5k/10k Run is an annual event raising funds to support injured American veterans. Over its 14-year history, the event has raised and donated over $2.5 million.
The event takes place in Westlake, Texas, at the Solana Plaza. Participants run on a trail or path. Parking is located at a designated structure at 1400 Solana Blvd. and requires a walk to the event site.
The main events are chip-timed by DoMore Race Services. All finishers receive a medal. Age group awards are given three-deep. The events include:
- 5K (approx. 3.4 miles), described as a loop with some shade.
- 10K, described as a hilly course with some shade.
- 5K Active Military / Veterans
- 10K Active Military / Veterans
- 5K Age 14 and under
- 10K Age 14 and under
- Virtual / Sleep In Run
- Fun Run (not chip-timed)
Race t-shirts were guaranteed for the first 350 registrants. Registration after August 2 does not guarantee a shirt. Prices increase after August 2 for most events.
