The Miles for the Military 5k is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026 in Lombard, Illinois. The event includes the following distances:

- Swag Only
The race is hosted by Madison and Hammerschmidt Elementaries and takes place at 150 W Madison St., Lombard, IL 60148. Results will be posted live during the event at J3Timing.com and past results are available for previous years.
Registration and logistics
Registration fees are listed as: 5k $30 (age-based pricing: $10 for 18 and under), 1 Mile $15 (age-based pricing: $10 for 18 and under), and a Swag Only option. Registration for the Swag Only option opens March 20, 2026. 5k and 1 Mile participants receive a race shirt; registrants must be signed up by April 20 to guarantee a shirt. Race swag ordered for students will be sent home with the student name indicated during registration. Not affiliated registration packets will be available on race day at the pre-race registration area. The event schedule includes pre-race registration, the 5k followed by the 1 Mile, and a post-race party. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
