Shamrock Beer Run & BrewFest Chicago
The event takes place on 03/13/2027 at Busse Woods Picnic Grove 28 (Golf Rd & Ring Rd) in Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. It combines an in-person 5K run with an on-site BrewFest and a virtual 5K option.
The in-person 5K includes entry to the BrewFest, a mini beer garden at the finish line with five 3 oz samples from craft breweries, one pint of beer, a souvenir stadium cup, a new short sleeve tech shirt, a magnetic bottle opener finisher medal, and free photos. Forest preserve restrictions mean there are no beer samples along the running route; samples are only available near the finish. The event is restricted to ages 21 and over; no children, no strollers, and no one under 21 admitted.
The virtual 5K allows participants to run any time and any location. Virtual entries receive race swag and the tech shirt, but beer samples cannot be shipped.
