The Shamrock Beer Run & BrewFest Chicago at Busse Woods takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Busse Woods Grove 28 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The event offers two entry options:

- 0.0K - BrewFest Entry (no 5K)
The event is restricted to ages 21 and older; no one under 21, no strollers, and no children are admitted. Team entries of six or more receive a free bonus swag item.
Course and amenities
The 5K is an out-and-back course with a craft brewery sample stop approximately every kilometer instead of traditional water stations. 5K registration includes a short-sleeve tech shirt, entry to the BrewFest, five 3 oz beer samples along the course, a magnetic bottle opener finisher's medal, one 16 oz pint ticket for the post-race BrewFest, a souvenir beer cup, and free race photos. Non-alcoholic beer samples are available at each sample stop.
Local craft breweries listed for course samples and the BrewFest include Alter Brewing Company, Scorched Earth, Tighthead Brewing Co, Illuminated Brew Works, and Church Street.
