Event overview
The Lucky Dog 5K - Schaumburg is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Rolling Meadows, IL (Busse Woods Grove 28). Course, logistics and awards
The course is an out-and-back on the Busse Woods Trail. The route is paved and generally flat and will be open to bikers and pedestrians; participants are asked to keep to the right. Dogs are welcome to run or walk on the course; dog registration is not required. Each registration includes one dog medal; additional dog medals are available for purchase.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, March 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Extramile Running, 31 West Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg, IL 60194. Race-day packet pickup will begin one hour before the event. Awards will be given overall male and female and to the top three in the listed age groups (9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 and over). The event benefits Animal House Shelter, a registered 501(c)(3) no-kill shelter. Parking is available at Busse Woods Grove 28 (limited) and at the Atrium Event Center, 3800 Golf Rd, Rolling Meadows.
