Course Details
The course is an out-and-back route on the paved Busse Woods Trail. It is described as scenic and generally flat. The course is shared with bikers and pedestrians, and participants are asked to stay to the right while running.
Registration & Participation
The event is open to participants aged 3 and older. A registration fee includes a short-sleeve t-shirt, a finisher medal, a dog medal, a chip-timed race bib, live results, and finish line treats for both humans and dogs. Dogs are welcome to participate without requiring their own registration, though only one dog medal is included per participant entry. Additional dog medals can be purchased.
Additional Information
The race is chip-timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Extramile Running in Schaumburg, or on race day beginning one hour before the start. There is limited parking at the event site, with carpooling encouraged, and additional parking recommended at the Atrium Event Center. Food trucks will be on-site.
