Miles for Messiah
Miles for Messiah is an annual fundraising run that benefits the youth programs at a local church in Forest City, North Carolina. The event is presented as the "Miles for Messiah 5K & Breakfast" and takes place at 129 Michael Dr, Forest City, NC 28043.
The 5K course starts near PVCC and finishes at the Family Life Center, where breakfast is served to runners. Breakfast plates are also available to spectators for a small fee or donation. The race course follows a figure 9 with a loop off Doggett Road and features small inclines.
The event is managed by church youth and leaders and is described as family friendly. Miles for Messiah has been part of the Rutherford Outdoor Coalition Race Series since 2012.
