Buck Creek Streak 5K Trail Run
The 13th Annual Buck Creek Streak 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2027, at Carolina Foothills Resort. The event is a clothing optional trail run and walk through woods, trails, and meadows. Participants may choose between the two course options listed below; choosing the longer course also enters the runner into the 5K but registrants should select only one race length.

- 7.3K commemorative challenge
The 5K is professionally chip timed using an ankle strap chip with results displayed on a TV. Awards are presented for first, second, and third place in the 5K. The event also presents overall male and female awards and first and second place awards by age group in the 5K. A special finisher's medal is given to those who complete the 7.3K commemorative challenge honoring a longtime resort member who passed away in 2017.
Registration fees and windows are stated for early registration tiers: $45 from June 14, 2026 through December 31, 2026; $55 from January 1, 2027 through March 31, 2027; and $65 from April 1, 2027 through June 9, 2027. No same-day registrations are permitted. Registrations completed by May 10 include a specialty event T-shirt, a lunch meal ticket, and a day pass to the resort; registrations after May 10 include those items while supplies last.
