Event Overview
The Buck Creek Streak is a clothing optional trail run or walk. The event takes place on trails through the woods and meadows of the Carolina Foothills Resort in Chesnee, South Carolina.
Distances
The event offers two distance options:
- A 5K trail run/walk.
- A 7.3K trail run, known as the Mike Ward Challenge, which honors a longtime resort member. Participation in the 7.3K also includes entry in the 5K. Only one distance can be chosen.
Event Details
The race uses professional chip timing via an ankle strap, with instant results displayed. Awards are given in the 5K for overall male and female winners, as well as first and second place in each age group. Those who complete the 7.3K Mike Ward Challenge receive a special finisher's medal.
Registration includes a specialty event T-shirt, a lunch, and a day pass to Carolina Foothills Resort (with additional charges for non-runners). These items are included while supplies last for registrations after May 11.
